The Generator makes it possible for you to create/import
one massive “Super” BOM or Route containing 100% of your business’
configuration possibilities. With BOM Route Generator, you can set standard
D365BC filters and input values to relate rows of the Master BOM to your
configurations in e-Con CPQ, so that the relevant lines are applied in each
configuration. Multi-level BOMs are also supported.
We developed BOM Route Generator for our international
make-to-engineering clients that can have multiple suppliers for the same
product. There are many other use cases, however, including any case when there
are multiple options for the to-be-configured product, and you want a way to
choose the best item for the context.
The generator is connected to the base e-Con app.
